Third Party Inspection

Gulf Lloyds Inspection Services (GLIS) offers a complete range of services that includes Third Party Inspection & Certification, quality assurance, vendor inspection, product inspection and certification, surveillance and expediting. These services include design review and certification of equipment, material verification and certification, quality assurance services including vendor audits and technical inspection of goods related mechanical, electrical, electronic and civil work. We do inspection start to end, from raw material to final dispatch, testing and commissioning on site.

Expediting

Expediting is crucial function of procurement. Our experienced expediters not only follow the progress of an order, but also undertake trouble-shooting of root cause to ensure that required delivery dates are respected. Expediting process includes pre-production / kick off meeting, establishment of planning or critical path networks, control of engineering, sub-orders and sub-vendors, manufacturing, test and dispatch

Pre Shipment Inspection

We do pre –dispatch or shipment inspection of manufactured goods, Eg. fabricated, forged, machined, finished or semi finished products, commodity items etc. and Inspection release certificates is issued based on inspection, these documents are requirement of letters of credit.

Cargo Inspection

Measuring cargo quantity and quality:
High value bulk commodities like crude oil, chemicals, fuels, grains, edible oils and many other product are measured, analyzed and verified for shipment and inventory quantity and quality. Inspectors survey and sample representative product from bulk storage tanks, tankers, cargo ships, barges, shore storage and transfer facilities, rail-cars and warehouses. Intertek chemists follow accepted industry and regulatory methods and practices to obtain accurate, reliable and repeatable results.

Site Construction Inspection

Whether offshore or on land, the safe, successful completion of large-scale construction projects demands input from internationally experienced personnel. To effectively manage projects, companies need assistance with construction-related activities such as project planning, procurement, health, safety, project site inspection, and other quality services.

Mill Inspection

We are having specialized team of inspection engineers to carry out large turnkey orders Inspection and certification. Inspection and certification of plates, casings, fabricated and machined products, forged products, line pipes, tubes etc. is done by our specialist inspectors having hands on experience and knowledge of inspection of forming, welding, non-destructive testing, machining, coating, storing, loading – unloading etc. For large orders a team of inspectors is placed in the mill and we ensure the inspection and certification engineers are available all shifts and all stages of manufacture and test are controlled. Detailed reports are issued for every shift, weekly and completion basis; reports are either manual or computerized.

Vendor Inspection

Vendor inspections are witness activities on testing carried out at supplier's premises, during production and in following stages. It allows verifying the conformity with the requirements of applicable international standards or technical specifications stated in the contract, before the products are sent to the installation site.
Development and continued operation of a project also depend on the right quality of equipment, products and components delivered by vendors. This becomes particularly true in Oil & Gas, refinery, Petrochemical and Power Generation industry, where procurement assigns a massive number of items, with many different manufacturers around the world.

Shutdown Inspection

GLIS .has dedicated team for shutdown inspection of pipelines, plant and machinery, equipment, Refineries, Petrochemical complex, Fertilizer and other type of units. This includes health assessment with Residual Life Assessment activities. All International standards and good engineering practice like API, Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) and Client procedure is followed.

Marine Inspection

GLIS performs certification of material and equipment associated with safe and efficient maritime transportation and pollution prevention, in accordance with national and international safety standards and with our own Rules for Classification of Ships. GLIS  provides inspection services for projects related to Marine Equipments, includes Safety, Process and Manufacturing equipments. We do vendor inspection for product fitted and installed on offshore and onshore sites, like different kind Jetties and Ports (eg. Bulk cargo, Containers, LNG berths, multipurpose berths etc.) Equipments and products include, Docking and Mooring system, Compressors, Diaphragm closures, Shock cells, Barge bumpers etc. Also, Recertification of Engine, Block, Head, Crown, Piston, Crank Shaft, Gas Inlet Casing etc.various parts of Engine. We have good experience in Sub sea Pipelines.

Equipment/Product Inspection (Mech./Elec./Civil)

All types of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and civil works are inspected to verify compliance to specified requirements and project specification. Inspection can start with a pre-production meeting followed by identification and inspection of all raw materials, inspections at all prescribed hold-point stages, witnessing all tests, verification of all certificates and a final release inspection – as specified in project specification and any deviation from client. It is imperative that Raw material (commodity) is inspected for the correctness in terms of metallurgy, dimensions, surface finish etc. before actual start of manufacturing process, our experienced inspectors carryout all such inspections to ensure that all quality & quantity of raw material as per BOM and specified grade specification, required NDE, visual and other inspections are carried out as per prescribed or internationally accepted codes and standards.

NDT Inspection

GLIS Provides 24x7 NDT Inspection Services with their Highly qualified & Large experience Personnel for NDT Inspection.
